Dr. Nadiia Bukhonka is an Associate Professor at the Technical Faculty “Mihajlo Pupin” Zrenjanin, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. She holds a PhD in Technical Sciences with a specialization in Textile Material Technology from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Ukraine. With over 18 years of academic experience and more than 11 years of industry experience, she has worked as an engineering technologist, technical director in knitting production, digital printing department manager, and textile brand manager.

He received his degree in Chemical Engineering from the K.U. Leuven (Belgium) in 1971 where he also obtained his Ph.D. in 1978. The subject of his Ph.D. research was “Non-linear viscoelastic behavior of dispersions”. This subject has a renewed interest due to the presence of nanoparticles in the air (pollution) and even in blood and longs and their possibility to form gel-like structures. He worked as senior researcher from 1978 till 2004 in the private industry (Solvay; Central Research Laboratory) in the field of polymerization and polymer processing. In 1994 he obtained the part-time position of lecturer at the Ghent University, teaching “polymer processing”. In 2004 he obtained the fulltime position of professor at the Ghent University teaching all courses concerning polymer technology, including processing and polymerization processes. He is also involved in the courses concerning “environment and sustainable development” in general and teaching the course of “rational use of materials” in particular.

Dr. Marianna V. Kharlamova holds PhD degree in Physics (Spectroscopy) from University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria) and PhD degree in Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry, Solid State Chemistry) from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia). She graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with MSc degree in Chemistry and BSc degree in Materials Science. Dr. Kharlamova is an experienced materials scientist with an extensive expertise in the development, synthesis and characterization of advanced materials. She has a strong background in Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Bionanotechnology, Physics and Biophysics. She has a large experience of the design and conduction of material synthesis and characterization experiments in chemical, physical and biophysical laboratories, the processing, analysis and interpretation of the obtained data and the preparation of reports and manuscripts. Dr. Pasqualina Liana Scognamiglio is an Associate Professor (SSD CHEM-03/A) at the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, University of Basilicata, Italy. She earned her PhD in Drug Sciences from the University of Naples “Federico II,” where her research focused on peptidic inhibitors of protein–protein interactions. Dr. Scognamiglio has held postdoctoral research positions at renowned institutions including the Italian Institute of Technology and the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include functional biomaterials, polymer chemistry, and advanced biotechnological approaches for healthcare applications. She has published extensively and collaborates internationally in materials chemistry and nanoscience.

She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Maria and a PhD in Science from the State University of Campinas (2003), where her research focused on the dynamics of chemically modified silicon surfaces using AFM. She completed postdoctoral and research appointments at UFRJ and PUC-Rio, investigating surface coatings and amorphous carbon films. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. Her research expertise includes surfaces and thin films, AFM, polymeric and non-polymeric materials, liquid crystals, and applications in electronic devices.

Dr. Junqin Shi is an Associate Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Northwestern Polytechnical University. He is a specially appointed expert of the Youth Study Group of the Surface Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, a young editorial board member of Nano-Micro Letters, Journal of Trilogy (Chinese and English), and the Chinese Journal of Surface Engineering, as well as an editorial board member of Scientific Reports. His research primarily focuses on friction lubrication mechanisms, surface and interface adsorption behavior, metal material deformation, and hydrogen production through water electrolysis. He is proficient in cross-scale theoretical calculations, including first-principles, molecular dynamics, and contact mechanics finite element methods, applying material genetic engineering approaches to provide microscale perspectives on surface and interface phenomena. Dr. Shi has published more than 40 papers as first author, co-author, or corresponding author in leading journals such as Nature Communications, ACS Nano, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Carbon, Nano Research, Tribology International, Friction, and Applied Surface Science.

Professor Zhaosen Liu received his Ph.D. in solid-state physics from TU Dresden, Germany, in 1999. His early research focused on quantum approaches to crystal-field effects, RKKY interactions, and magnetic transition temperatures in rare-earth materials. In 2008, he developed a two-sublattice model for antiferromagnetic rare-earth systems, addressing major experimental challenges. Since 2010, he has specialized in quantum computational methods for low-dimensional magnetic materials, including optimized Quantum Monte Carlo techniques. His recent work includes skyrmionic crystals, multiferroic materials, and a quantized static micromagnetic theory for finite-temperature spin textures.

Dr. Guanhua Lin, received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2011. Then, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland to study the artificial photosynthesis systems. In 2013, he joined in National University of Singapore as a research fellow, and his researches are self-assembly of inorganic nanostructures by using in situ TEM. In 2018, he becomes an associate research professor in Shenzhen University. Since 2023, he is an principal investigator in Fujian Normal University, and his research mainly focused on development of functional materials and their applications in various fields such as sensor, green chemistry, and energy.

Ramiz K. Bayramov studied chemistry at the Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Chemical Technology. After graduating, he worked in the Tula region at the Novomoskovsk branch of the State Institute of Nitrogen Industry (NB SINI). Later, he entered the graduate school of the Research Physicochemical Institute in Moscow. After defending his PhD thesis, he continued working at the Novomoskovsk NB SINI. He studied the process of dispersion of materials in pulsed discharges. He focuses on studying the process of obtaining nanostructured powder materials (metals, hydroxides, metal oxides, etc.). He prepared and defended a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences. He has more than 85 publications in scientific journals, including a number of patents. He prepared and published two monographs. He was elected a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

Guoqian Chen, Professor of systems ecology and sustainability science at Peking University, China, and Distinguished Adjunct Professor in the Center of Research Excellence of Renewable Energy and Power Systems at King Abdullaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He has a wide spectrum of research interests including climate thermodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, renewable energy and resources, systems ecological modelling, ecological economics, global and regional sustainability studies, systems input-output technique. The author studied and worked at the Physical Faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv from 1973 to 1999 and earned a PhD in Solid State Physics in 1989. He later worked as an Associate Professor at Gdansk University and Bydgoszcz University in Poland. In 2007, he obtained his Doctor of Science degree in Optics and Laser Physics. Since 2008, he has been a Leading Researcher and Head of the Spectroscopy Group at the Vlokh Institute of Physical Optics, Ukraine, and also served as Professor at the University of Zielona Góra, Poland. His research focuses on EPR and optical spectroscopy of defects and luminescence centers in solids.

Dr. Bhawna is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi NCR Campus, since August 2023. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Delhi (2024), focusing on engineered SnO₂ nanomaterials for photocatalytic water splitting, pollutant degradation, and plastic waste conversion. Professor Omid Mirzaee is a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Semnan University, Iran. He earned his B.Eng. in Materials Engineering-Casting from Isfahan University of Technology in 1998, his M.Eng. from Shiraz University in 2001, and his Ph.D. from Isfahan University of Technology in 2007. Since joining Semnan University in 2009, he has served as an assistant, associate, and full professor. Professor Mirzaee’s research focuses on advanced ceramics, magnetic materials, photocatalysts, nanomaterials synthesis, and optical ceramics. He has published 105 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, with at least 25 among the most cited in their respective years. His work has been cited over 3,700 times, reflecting its impact and recognition in the field. Dr. Sergey Ivashov is a distinguished scientist specializing in remote sensing, holographic radar technologies, and non-destructive testing (NDT) of materials. He earned his PhD in 1975 from the Moscow Institute of Physics & Technology, where he graduated with honors. From 1977 to 2000, he worked at the Central Scientific and Research Institute of Radio & Electronic Systems, Moscow, rising to Head of Laboratory. From 2001 to 2024, he served as Head of the Remote Sensing Laboratory at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. His pioneering research includes the development of RASCAN holographic radar technology, for which he received the Russian Federation Government Award in Science and Technology (2000). His scientific contributions span holographic subsurface radar, non-destructive evaluation of construction materials, security applications of short-range radar, and humanitarian demining technologies. More recently, his work has focused on the radar-based diagnostics of rocket cryogenic fuel tank insulation and the remote detection of human vital signs for medical and security purposes.

Mohsen Mhadhbi obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Sfax, Faculty of Sciences of Sfax, Tunisia. He is currently Assistant Professor in National Institute of Research and Physicochemical Analysis, Tunisia.
